“There has already been a request at the parliamentary level of Lombardy. I think it is a request that must be made jointly – added the governor – because it is a dramatic situation for Lombardy, Piedmont, Emilia Romagna but also Veneto”.
“It is an extremely delicate situation. Today there is a meeting between Councilor Sertori and the regulators of the hydroelectric service to try to agree on a greater release of water”, adds Fontana after the alarm bell launched in recent days by the District Authority del Po on the drought situation in Piedmont and Lombardy. “I’ve been worried for several months,” she added.
