The judge Alexandre de Moraesof the Supreme Court, ordered the Federal Police to search the offices and seize the cell phones of eight people who are part of a group called “Entrepreneurs and Politics” on WhatsApp, where support for the coup was reported.
“We are seeing that there is an escalation against freedom, what I have always talked about has manifested itself (now) against these entrepreneurs, I know two very well, they exchange WhatsApp with me”, Bolsonaro declared yesterday. Already on Wednesday, the president recognized that he had links with entrepreneurs Luciano Hang and Meyer Joseph Nigri.
“I really want to understand what’s going on, because nobody knows what’s going on (…) I hope Moraes presents the reasons for the operation as quickly as possible,” said Bolsonaro.
