European elections: “I will not lead a list”, announces Nicolas Dupont-Aignan

Invited this Tuesday morning on the set of La Grande interview, the deputy for Essonne Nicolas Dupont-Aignan announces that he will not lead a list in the European elections. “I thought a lot. And then I said to myself: ‘My role is to be in the National Assembly’. I defend a Gaullian vision of France and therefore I will stay in the National Assembly , I will not lead a list,” he explains to Sonia Mabrouk on the microphone. “at a time when France is bankrupt and there is this conflict between Russia and Ukraine, my modest job is to defend a certain idea of ​​France and to prepare for the following deadlines which seem much more important to me than the European ones,” he continues.

“I am focusing on France”

In the mind of the president of Debout la France: the presidential election of 2027 and the legislative elections that will follow. And if he does not yet know for whom he will call to vote, he nevertheless announces that “we must beat at all costs the list of Valérie Hayer”, Renaissance candidate in Brussels, “and that of Raphaël Glucksmann (head of the list Public square editor’s note), which are dangerous. Both are dangerous for France because they want to eliminate France, wipe it off the map,” he believes.

Nicolas Dupont-Aignan also enjoys “all the nuances of sovereignism” in the elections. “And would you like me to add my music? I don’t have a taste for small things and I concentrate on France,” he concludes.
