(ANSA) – ROME, MARCH 09 – “I’m afraid of dying, eh. I don’t know when the light goes out what will be on the other side. But in a certain sense I’m also excited to be able to find out”.

Gianluca Vialli talks about his illness confiding in Alessandro Cattelan during “A simple question”, the docu-show that will be broadcast from March 18th on Netflix. Some contents of the episode have been anticipated by the weekly Oggi which will be on newsstands starting tomorrow.

“But – he adds – I also realize that the concept of death is used to understand and appreciate life. The anxiety of not being able to complete all the things I want to do, the fact of being super excited by all the projects I have , it’s something I feel very lucky for. ” And again: “The disease – highlights the former striker of the national team, of Sampdoria and Juve – is not exclusively suffering: there are wonderful moments. Life – and I didn’t say it but I fully agree with it – is made for the 20 percent from what happens to you but 80 percent from the way you react to what happens. And sickness can teach you a lot about how you are made, also be an opportunity. thankful for cancer, huh … “. (HANDLE).
