(ANSA) – ROME, MARCH 16 – The ‘Junior TIM Cup – Keep Racism Out’ is back, the youth 7-a-side football tournament reserved for under-14 teams of the oratories of the 16 cities where Serie A is played. Lega Serie A, Tim and the Italian Sports Center (Csi) together support the ninth edition of the tournament, which after involving more than 77 thousand young people throughout Italy and over 5 thousand speakers, this year embraces the Lega Serie awareness campaign dedicated to the fight against racism and to any form of discrimination.
The tournament will start in March and the teams qualified from their respective oratorial phases will compete in regional or interregional qualifying phases and the winners will compete for the title of champion. The children of the speakers will also be engaged in educational activities aimed at fighting racism and the transmission of values such as integration and inclusion.
