(ANSA) – LONDON, MARCH 23 – Ajax coach Erik Ten Hag is the favorite for the Manchester United bench. After the dismissal of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last November and the arrival until the end of the season of Ralf Rangnick, in the summer the ‘Red Devils’ will have a new technical guide. There are numerous names of the candidates, including the current coach of Paris Saint-Germain, Mauricio Pochettino. But, after the rumors of the last few days, according to which emissaries of the Manchester club have already met several times with the Dutch manager, the British press does not seem to have any doubts about who will be the next United manager.
Should the agreement with Ten Hag jump at the last minute, United is ready to tackle Sevilla coach Julen Lopetegui; more difficult appears the arrival of Luis Enrique, highly esteemed by Old Trafford but reluctant to leave the Spanish national team a few months before the World Cup in Qatar.
Finally, the Thomas Tuchel hypothesis has been rejected: despite the current uncertainties surrounding Chelsea, the German coach is not willing to leave the leadership of the ‘Blues’, taking for granted his confirmation by the new ownership. (HANDLE).
