(ANSA) – ROME, MARCH 29 – The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, will meet the Italian team returning from the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The ceremony was set for Tuesday 5 April, at the Quirinale Palace, starting at 12.00. The medal-winning blue athletes will take part in the hearing, as well as technicians and managers, led by the President of Coni, Giovanni Malagò, and by the President of the Italian Paralympic Committee, Luca Pancalli.
During the ceremony, which will be broadcast live on Rai 2, at 12.00, the Italian flag will be handed back to the Head of State by the Italian standard bearers, Michela Moioli for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, and Giacomo Bertagnolli for the Paralympics. (HANDLE).
