(ANSA) – ROME, APRIL 15 – Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson are among the members of the 122nd edition of the US Open, the third male Major of 2022 scheduled from June 16 to 19 at the Brookline Country Club (Massachusetts).
The Grand Slam tournaments but not only. After returning to the field at The Masters, Woods first announced that he will be among the stars of The Open in July (14-17), in Scotland. Ten days earlier he should instead play a charity Pro-Am, organized by John Patrick McManus, at Adare Manor in Limerick, Ireland. While his presence is still uncertain for the PGA Championship in May (19-22).
An important signal also from Phil Mickelson who, after the controversy arising from his statements on the PGA Tour and Saudi Arabia, has taken a pause for reflection. But he intends to be there at the US Open, to try to fulfill his dream of completing the Grand Slam. (HANDLE).
