Davis Cup: Italy in the group with Croatia, Argentina and Sweden

(ANSA) – ROME, APRIL 26 – Croatia, Argentina and Sweden will be Italy’s opponents in the group stage of the Davis Cup.
The Azzurri captain Filippo Volandri will be involved in group A, at the Unipol Arena in Bologna, from 14 to 18 September.
This is the outcome of the draw that took place in Malaga (Spain), home to the final phase of the event, with direct elimination, with quarter-finals, semi-finals and final from 21 to 27 November.
The challenges of the four groups – scheduled from 14 to 18 September – will be hosted by four different cities. In addition to Bologna, there are Glasgow, Hamburg and Valencia with the latter – announced this morning – taking the place of Malaga, designated to host the quarterfinals, semifinals and final in November.
The other groups are made up as follows: Spain, Canada, Serbia, Czech Republic (Valencia); France, Germany, Belgium, Australia (Hamburg); United States, Great Britain, Kazakhstan, Holland (Glasgow). (HANDLE).
