(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 20 – Ferrari remains the fastest even in the second free practice sessions of the Formula 1 Spanish GP, which will be held on Sunday at the Montmelò circuit. With a time of 1’19 “670 Charles Leclerc preceded two Mercedes, one tenth that of George Russell and two the car from Lewis Hamilton, with Carlos Sainz fourth to three tenths with the second Red Bull. Max Verstappen (+0.336) and Fernando Alonso’s Alpine (+0.533).
Seventh time for Sergio Perez with Red Bull, last to keep the gap from Leclerc just under the second. Also in the top 10 of the times are Sebastian Vettel (Aston Martin), Esteban Ocon (Alpine) and Mick Schumacher (Haas).
In the long run tests, in a configuration closer to the race one, Red Bull and Mercedes are currently more performing than (ANSA).
