Gymnastics: 2 more golds in Pesaro with Raffaeli butterflies and clubs

(ANSA) – PESARO, 05 JUN – The satisfactions continue for the Italian rhythmic gymnastics in the Pesaro World Cup. An increasingly sensational Sofia Raffaeli wins two more medals: gold at the clubs with a personal of 33,400 points, beating the Bulgarians Eva Brezalieva (32,250 points) and Stiliana Nikolova (32,200 points). Sixth Milena Baldassarri with 30,000 points. And at the ribbon the champion from the Marche is silver with 30,500 points, surpassed only by the Ukrainian Viktoria Onopriienko (30,900 points).

Bronze went to Slovenian Ekaterina Vedeneeva with 29,550 points, while the other Italian Baldassarri still closed in sixth place, held back by another loss: 28,250 points for the Olympic finalist.

For the ‘atomic ant’ today three golds and one silver arrived at the Vitfrigo Arena in Pesaro.

The Blue Butterflies closed the World Cup with a flourish, which in the mixed test (three ribbons and two balls) are still overwhelming with a score of 32,450: another gold ahead of Bulgaria (29,850) and Brazil (28,650) (ANSA).
