(ANSA) – CESENA, 07 JUN – A team of fifteen hundred fans, many in black uniforms, who cheered their national team from start to finish and the special accompaniment of the premier, Viktor Orban. Hungary coached by the Italian Marco Rossi, former Sampdoria footballer where he played with the Azzurri coach Roberto Mancini, presented himself at the Dino Manuzzi stadium in Cesena to face Italy in the second Nations League match, after the home victory with England, matured into a stadium full of children who whistled the British, and howled, as they knelt against racism. The Hungarian ultras often shouted louder than the Italian fans, in a sold out stadium with 15,000 present. Choirs, roars at every action, whistles to the Azzurri and a hint of ‘Geyser Sound’. Before the match they were escorted by the police to the stadium and there was a brief moment of tension, near the bar frequented by Cesena fans, with a riot soon quelled by the police.
Orban, a sovereign who sees sport as one of the sectors that affirm his own social model, arrived almost an hour before the start of the match, witnessed the warm-up of the two teams applauding his national team, often remaining standing. Orange tie and red, white and green scarf, he watched the match alongside the FIGC president Gabriele Gravina and behind the mayor of Cesena Enzo Lattuca. The mayor greeted the entire Hungarian delegation present with a handshake and a word of welcome. There are no other Italian institutions. (HANDLE).
