(ANSA) – BOSTON, JUN 09 – The Tatum-Brown-Smart trio from Boston got the better of the fantastic comeback of Golden State, started by Stephen Curry in the third quarter, winning at home (116-100) and taking the 2-1 in the NBA Finals series. The Celtics wanted to respond to the physical challenge imposed by the Warriors in the previous game (107-88) and it showed.
They won the battle on this floor and did some damage when Curry injured his left leg, which Al Horford fell heavily on in the fight for a ball. At that moment, with four minutes remaining, Boston had the victory in hand (110-96).
