(ANSA) – SASSUOLO (MODENA), 06 JUL – Sassuolo has withdrawn the number 4 shirt worn by Francesco Magnanelli, who has decided to close with football played at the end of the last championship after 17 years and 520 appearances in the green and black shirt.
Even the mayor of Sassuolo, Gian Francesco Menani, applauds the initiative: “A decision that we fully agree with and for which I congratulate the management – he said – Francesco Magnanelli is not just a flag of Sassuolo or an honorary citizen, it is first of all the symbol of a Sassuolo that with work, sacrifice and passion can stand tall at the most important tables.
