(ANSA) – ROME, JUL 17 – There are 14 blues called up by the coach of the Italian national volleyball team, Fefè De Giorgi, for the Finals of the fifth edition of the Volleyball Nations League scheduled in Bologna from 20 to 24 July. Having finished the collegiate of Florence, this morning the group moved to the Emilian capital. Zaytsev, Michieletto and companions (together with them there will also be Leandro Mosca, at work until 19 July) will debut on Wednesday 20 July at 21 against the Netherlands, the last opponent of the preliminary phase, in the first versus eighth match with a pass for the semifinals, scheduled for Saturday 23 July.
There are also four Italian national teams engaged today around Europe in continental and intercontinental finals.
In addition to the (ongoing) match of the women’s Nations League between Italy and Brazil in Ankara, at 18.30 it will be the turn of Michele Zanin’s blues to challenge France in Tbilisi, in the last act of the U18 European Championship. At 20.00 the men’s Under 22 will face France in the European final in Tarnow, Poland, and finally the women’s U21 will face Serbia in Cerignola, in the last act of the continental category competition.
