PSG won the Trophée des Champions this Sunday by easily winning against FC Nantes (4-0) in Tel Aviv. Neymar scored twice as Lionel Messi opened the scoring. Spanish defender Sergio Ramos also went there with his goal. The Parisians won this title for the 11th time in their history.

Already a title for PSG. Christophe Galtier’s players easily disposed of Nantes (4-0) this Sunday in Tel Aviv. The Parisians thus won the Trophée des Champions and got their season off to a perfect start.

In the first period, it was Lionel Messi who drew first. The Argentinian plays with the Nantes goalkeeper, Alban Lafont, before concluding with a cross shot in the empty goal. Just before the break, the Brazilian Neymar breaks with a magnificent free kick in the top corner.

An 11th Champions Trophy

Returning from the locker room, the Spanish defender Sergio Ramos widened the gap with a clever heel before Neymar offered himself a double, on penalty, to complete the Parisian success. PSG wins the 11th Champions Trophy in its history, a year after being beaten by Lille (1-0) in the same Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv.

“I liked the way the team expressed itself, with always this desire to attack, to have control of the game and also this desire to recover the ball as quickly as possible. It’s an important success to start a season, we must not trivialize the victories, the trophies”, savored Christophe Galtier after the meeting.

The teammates of Kylian Mbappé, suspended for this match, are now turning to Ligue 1. PSG will start their season next Saturday on the lawn of Clermont.
