ICS-FIDAL agreement to grow facilities dedicated to athletics

(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 01 – The Italian Athletics Federation (FIDAL) and the Institute for Sports Credit (ICS) have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at improving infrastructure and sports equipment.

FIDAL intends to launch the challenge of redeveloping and making the existing infrastructures dedicated to athletics ever more sustainable and to create new ones where the territory signals the need. This planning is also functional to the creation of a more widespread network of Federal Centers, in which athletes of excellence can train at their best and, at the same time, all those who intend to practice athletics in its various forms can find the best conditions.

Central elements of the agreement, signed by the presidents of Fidal and ICS, Stefano Mei and Andrea Abodi, are the “Top of The Sport” products, dedicated to National Sports Federations, and “Mutuo Light 2.0 – FSN”, for Affiliates . To the portfolio of opportunities, the Institute also added the financing of tax credits, factoring and advisory for the development of infrastructure projects.

The “Top of The Sport” product allows the Federation to take out a 20-year, zero-interest loan, thanks to the intervention of the Fund dedicated to the contribution on interest account, for a maximum amount of 6 million euros.

Beneficiaries of the “Mutuo Light 2.0 – FSN” are, on the other hand, the Associations and Companies Affiliated to FIDAL for at least one year, which will be able to receive a loan for the purchase of sports equipment and the construction and redevelopment of facilities throughout the national territory. , with a maximum amount of 60,000 euros, duration from 2 to 7 years.
