Rugby: Fir launches a working group for the development of the elite sector

(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 05 – The Italian Rugby Federation (Fir) has started a process of reorganization and expansion of the technical structure dedicated to the High Level, which includes the manager, Daniele Pacini, the head of the high level youth and transition, German Fernandez, the CEO of Benetton, Antonio Pavanello, and the manager of the national team, Giovanbattista Venditti.
In particular, Fernandez will integrate the technical coordination of elite rugby into his role, working with the coach, Kieran Crowley, and the franchises.
Pavanello, former representative of Italy in the Guinness PRO14, will hold a similar position in the technical commissions of World Rugby and 6 Nations. Pacini, supported on the operational management front by Venditti, will report to the president and the Federal Council about the work of the working group. (HANDLE).
