(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 07 – Renato Paratore on the podium at the Cazoo Open supported by Gareth Bale, the DP World Tour tournament sponsored for the second year in a row by the Welsh soccer champion and won by Callum Shinkwin with a total of 272 (69 68 65 70, -12) shots. The Roman finished in third place with a score of 279 (70 71 72 66, -5), obtaining the first top ten of the season. The blue, 21 / o at the end of the ‘moving day’, thanks to a last lap in 66 (-5) strokes with five birdies, an eagle and two bogeys, managed to recover 18 positions with the best score of the day. In the tournament that took place in City of Newport (Wales), on the course of The Celtic Manor Resort (par 71), which in 2010 hosted the Ryder Cup, the English Shinkwin won ahead of the Scottish Connor Syme, second with 276 (-8).
