Rowing: 60 Azzurri in Monaco for European Championships, 19 titles up for grabs

(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 08 – The 60 athletes of the Olympic and Paralympic rowing team have reached Munich where from 11 to 14 August they will take part in the European Championships on the Olympic Regatta Center basin. The blue team is made up of 34 men and 26 women – of which 54 for the senior and lightweight categories and six for the Pararowing one – and will be distributed among the 19 registered crews (11 senior, of which six female, six lightweights, of three of which female, and two pararowing) who will compete for the assignment of as many continental titles.

Among the novelties of this edition, in addition to some formations seen in Tokyo 2020 and revisited for the occasion, the presence of the two female and male flagships stands out and Marco Di Costanzo, Matteo Lodo, ​​Giuseppe Vicino and Matteo are also on board. Castaldo, bronze medal winners at the Japanese Olympic Games.
