(ANSA-AFP) – LONDON, AUGUST 15 – The Argentine midfielder of Tottenham, Giovani Lo Celso, returns on loan to Villarreal, the team with which he reached the semi-final of the Champions League last season. After the first six months at Villarreal, the former PSG player is on loan this time for the entire 2022/23 season, Tottenham explained in a press release.
The Spanish club has made it clear on its website that the Argentine international has “successfully” passed the medical examinations. “They say we always go back to the places where we were happy,” commented the player on Twitter, with the kit of a photo with his thumb up in front of the Spanish club’s logo. Arriving in London in 2019 from Real Betis, Lo Celso had an encouraging first season at Tottenham, then encountered many difficulties in establishing himself. (ANSA-AFP).
