Polish footballer Marcin Oleksa has been named the scorer of the best goal of 2022 by the International Football Federation (FIFA). The 35-year-old player of the Poznań “Guards” in November last year scored a masterpiece scored a goal against Rzeszow “Steel”.

Oleksy received the Ferenc Pushkak award at The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony, held on February 27 in the French capital Paris, the official FIFA website reports. The main feature of the Polish football player is that he plays in the championship for people with disabilities – Marcin had one leg amputated.

In the game with “Steel” Oleksa succeeded in a phenomenal blow in the fall because of himself. “My friend made a pass. I saw that the ball was approaching me. I always wanted to score a beautiful goal and hit the corner. I was very happy,” the Polish footballer himself commented on the episode.

In the voting, Marcin was ahead of 10 contenders for the award – in particular, the goal of the French striker Kylian Mbappe in the final of the 202 World Cup and the accurate strike of the Brazilian Richarlison in the same tournament.

As GLOBAL HAPPENINGS reported, Ukrainian footballer Serhiy Kryvtsov scored the winning goal in his first match for his new Inter Miami team.
