Ukrainian prospect of the second lightest weight Oleg Dovgun (15-0, 5 KOs) scored a landslide victory at the boxing evening in Pittsburgh. A 28-year-old native of Stebnyk (Lviv region), who recently lived in the USA, defeated Juan Centeno (8-7-3, 1 KOs) from Nicaragua, defending the title of North American champion according to NABA.

After the fight, Dovgun thanked his fans by writing warm words to his homeland on Instagram.
“I dedicate my victory to the Ukrainian people and to everyone who helps us win. Thank you. Glory to Ukraine,” Dovgun said.
Oleg fought his last battle almost a year ago. On March 19, 2022, the Ukrainian won a difficult victory over the Belgian with Armenian roots Geram Eloyan (7-3, 6 KOs).
As GLOBAL HAPPENINGS reported, Dovgun previously defeated 22-year-old American Daron Williams (7-1, 4 KOs), defending his ABF USA title in the second lightest weight.
Prior to that, Dovgun defeated Anthony Taylor (4-3, 1 KO) by unanimous decision.
