“Saving our people and country”: Olympic champion from Russia in a fit spoke about NATO weapons in the center of Moscow

President of the Russian Cross-Country Skiing Federation (FLGR) Elena Vyalbe issued another batch of Kremlin propaganda stamps about the war against Ukraine. After saying that the aggressors did not attack our country, the three-time Olympic champion said that the February 24 invasion was designed to protect people in the Russian Federation and the terrorist state itself.

Vyalbe stated this in an interview with the R-Sport propaganda news agency. She was outraged by the removal of Russian athletes from international tournaments and attempts to prevent the participation of the Russian Federation in the 2024 Olympics, and also came up with a threat to NATO.

“Governments are now shouting that they have bent sponsors. Ministers of sports from different countries are gathering and making some decisions. Well, you make decisions on the development of sports in your country. Why did you decide to climb into someone else’s garden and dictate some conditions there? USA bombed Yugoslavia – what did someone say that they would not go to the Games? You can even walk along the American part, the garden is serious. No, we are not taking any action. We are saving our people and the country, which has the next step – the threat of NATO deployment of weapons practically on Red Square,” Vyalbe said.

Earlier, the president of the Russian Wrestling Federation, Mikhail Mamiashvili, demanded from Europe an apology and compensation “for the tears of brothers and sisters in the Donbass” due to the conditions for allowing athletes to compete in international cross-country skiing competitions.

As GLOBAL HAPPENINGS reported, Olympic champion Alexander Legkov said that the Russians were tired of performing without a flag and an anthem, and demanded the International Olympic Committee “if they want us to come.”
