I can’t wait to race there again. All the more so since it’s been a long time since we can’t race here. I know. that we will have many more fans now with Checo on the team – added the Dutchman – so I can’t wait to see them all on the track. Of course, we hope to have a competitive weekend. “
“The last few races had been quite difficult. We had had various penalties for the engine and some unlucky moments, so it was certainly nice to be up there again, with Checo next to me,” Verstappen pointed out, referring to the success in the American GP. “It was a very satisfying victory. We showed a good pace in the Austin race. Now the goal is to build from that result. Of course that race was also very important for scoring points for the championship,” he concluded.
