The unified world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk expressed confidence that the real reason for Russia’s invasion of our country is the intention of the aggressors to destroy Ukraine. At the same time, he does not understand why Ukrainians are so hated in the Russian Federation.
He stated this in an interview with the Polish edition of Super Express. The boxer noted that he could not answer the question why the Russians so vehemently support the killings, including of children. He added that he “does not want to offend people,” but noted that Russian citizens have no brains.
“They want to steal our history, take over our country. It’s a lifeless imperialism, it’s already rotten. It doesn’t even breathe anymore. The kind of imperialism they have stinks the whole world. But they shout that they are great. I don’t understand, why do they hate us so much… I don’t think they have brains… I don’t want to insult people, I’m an Orthodox Christian… It’s not about insulting the enemy, but about treating the enemy in such a way how he behaves. I don’t understand them, and it seems to me that they don’t have a heart. They allow the murder of children, which can be a heart, “Usyk said.
Earlier, Usyk tried to justify his godfather Vasily Lomachenko, who actively promotes pro-Russian narratives, by saying that he supports Ukraine. And the former football player of the Ukrainian national team Artem Fedetsky shared the details of Usyk’s trip to the front.
As GLOBAL HAPPENINGS reported, Oleksandr Usik said that the Russian invaders wanted to kill him by leaving streamers with grenades in his house in Vorzel.
