(ANSA) – ROME, NOV 08 – The German Alexander Zverev returns after more than two years to third place in the world ATP ranking, still dominated by Novak Djokovic, who yesterday won the Masters 1000 in Paris-Bercy for the sixth time. The Serbian has thus ensured to finish the season at the top of the standings for the seventh time in his career, a record that allows him to overtake American Pete Sampras.
Daniil Medvedev, defeated yesterday in the final by Djokovic, remains in second position while Stefanos Tsitsipas drops to fourth, followed by the Russian Andrey Rublev who has overtaken Rafael Nadal, now sixth, out of the game due to injury.
