Famous Ukrainian heavyweight Konstantin Dovbischenko (10-12-1, 7 KOs) won a sensational victory at a boxing evening in Edinburgh, Scotland. The 31-year-old native of Voznesensk defeated local top prospect Matty Harris (5-1, 4 KOs).
Before the fight, bookmakers accepted bets on Harris’s victory with a coefficient of 1.10, while the success of the Ukrainian fighter was estimated at 8.0.
23-year-old Matty started the fight well, capturing the center of the ring and each time breaking through the defense of our compatriot with powerful blows.
In the second round, Konstantin “yawned” the right straight, knocking him down.
After that, the Briton believed in his victory, stopped defending himself, dropped his hands and was punished for it.
Dovbischenko confidently carried out attack after attack, and until the 4th three-minute period, the heavyweight opponent from Great Britain could barely stand on his feet.
The denouement came in the 5th round. Kostya just beat his opponent and a few seconds before the gong the referee stopped the fight, awarding the victory by technical knockout.
