In a commentary on OBOZ.ua, Andrashchuk said that this championship was the first international principle of this level, and the girl was glad that she immediately got to the catwalk. “For me, this was my first European championship, at which I showed my best result. Satisfied with his performance, not only because everything was fine, but also because preparation for him was very difficult for me. For three years, my dream was not in bed at home, but on the floor in the subway. Because in my country the war, which is a state. Andrashchuk noted.

“My mother suffers from panic attacks from a constant shelling, and we cannot live together as before. My family is now divided, ”the girl added.

Veronica said that she trained and persistently for a long time, she was confident in her jumps and really relied on the medal. Although it was necessary to fight for her, which were accepted for competitions under a neutral flag.

“After the previous part of the competition, I set a goal to pay attention to athletes from the country of aggressor, but I just jump, as I know how my coach taught me,” said Andrashchuk, who ultimately became a bronze medalist in the European Championship, giving place to two competitors.

“When the award ceremony came, I immediately realized: I do not want to stand nearby, and even more photographs with representatives of the country that kill our people every day, destroy our cities and through what my family in 2014 was supposed to leave my hometown and say goodbye to it forever,” jumps.

“And this decision – not to be photographing – was the best!

Having awarded the video from the action, she quickly flew through various Ukrainian and Russian sites and channels.

“I received great support from friends and athletes from other countries. The Russians also wrote, some offended, called me a “Nazi” or “child with PR. “But I don’t care. I don’t care what they think and write. I will always support my country and worship. ”
