This can open the way for the national team to participate in the final part of the Euro 2026 match, despite the presence of Belarus among the participants.
The National team of Fusala was released to the final stage of the European Championship, which will be held in 2026. However, the participation of the team threatened the decision of the European Football Union (UEFA) to allow the Belarusian national team to allow the tournament that operates under national symbols. The current decree of the Youth Ministry prohibits Ukrainian teams to play against representatives of Russia and Belarus.
In response to criticism of Lithuania and Latvia, where there is a legislative ban on the entry of citizens of Belarus and Russia, UEFA added to the number of organizers of Slovenia. This made it possible to avoid the intersection of national teams of Ukraine and Belarus in the early stages of the tournament, but the problem remained: the very fact of the presence of Belarus in euros makes it impossible for Ukraine to participate in the current ban.
Nevertheless, Minister Matthew, the poor minister allowed to cancel or revise this decree. According to him, the decisions will be taken carefully: “The decree is not a dogma, it can be canceled. I think that in the near future we will consider this problem. But it is necessary to prepare very well, ”the poor said in the commentary Tribuna.com.
Therefore, Ukraine does not yet refuse to participate in Euro-2026, but the final decision will depend on political and organizational circumstances.
