Amazon is expected to unveil a new TV soon

Based on a rumor shared by Business Insider, the online sales platform Amazon would like to launch a TV under its own brand before next November. An article which should however only penetrate the United States market at first, without a deployment in other countries having been mentioned for the moment. In France, it is moreover Xiaomi which is doing well at the moment.

Jeff Bezos’ screen, for its part, would offer a substantial diagonal of fifty-five to seventy-five inches. That’s about all the source assumes about its technical sheet, with of course the integration of the Alexa home voice assistant. This eliminates the need for a physical remote control by controlling the interface orally; it is already found on HDMI dongles such as the Fire TV Stick 4K Ultra HD.

A brand partner in production

Always according to Business Insider, Amazon would have chosen a well-known subcontractor of our services for this smart TV. This is the Chinese manufacturer TCL, renowned for its mini-LED models which caused a sensation at IFA and CES a few months earlier. The technology of the Seattle slab, on the other hand, remains unknown to this day, especially since the diversity of standards offered by its supplier is quite wide.

WITH A adds that his television for the US has actually been in the boxes for nearly two years. At the helm, we would find the specialized divisions of the web giant, Amazon Devices and Lab126. The latter is known for its involvement in research and development, and is notably hiding behind the success of Kindle e-readers and tablets.

India in preview?

In fact, AmazonBasics already sells a TV, but only in India. With one hundred and twenty-seven centimeters on the counter for the equivalent of less than five hundred euros at the current exchange rate, this device is also available in a more compact edition (43 ″) and a more imposing (55 ″). On the menu: 4K definition, Fire TV OS and remote control supplied in the box. How much can the American product be inspired by it? Good question.
