(ANSA) – MILAN, MARCH 28 – Apple is preparing to hold a new event, perhaps half hybrid, next autumn, in which it will present not only the iPhone 14 but also other products. Among these, according to Bloomberg whistleblower Mark Gurman, also an iPad Pro with wireless charging. In his “Power On” newsletter, Gurman writes that Apple is planning “the widest range of new hardware products in its history” for the fall; a selection that should also include the updated iPad Pro. For the journalist, the iPad Pro 2022 will boast a glass rear body, to support wireless charging, a detail that would further bring the tablet design closer to that of the iPhone. The technological heart of the device will be the M2 home processor, with technical specifications very similar to those of the current M1 but with improvements in speed and energy efficiency, thanks to the innovations introduced by Apple’s supplier, the Taiwanese TSMC. Gurman claims that the M2 will find its place not only on the upcoming iPad Pro, but also on the new 13-inch MacBook Pro, Mac Mini and 24-inch iMac, other expected protagonists of the September or October event, during which Tim Cook will remove the veil also to the iPhone 14. Apple unveiled new iPad Pro in March 2016, June 2017, October 2018, March 2020 and April 2021. Also Gurman, following up on what was declared by Apple’s expert analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, argues that the company has completed the final revision process of the augmented and virtual reality goggles, which would see the light at the beginning of 2023.
