Apple, new Macs expected at the developer conference

(ANSA) – MILAN, APRIL 13 – Apple’s annual developer conference, WWDC 2022, will be held from June 6 to 10. During the event, according to recent rumors of Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, there should be no shortage of announcements of new products, such as Mac computers. As a rule, at the spring appointment, Apple usually presents software updates for its devices, from iOS to iPadOS, passing through the Apple Watch, Apple TV and Mac operating systems. Despite this, Gurman says he is certain that this time a lot of the focus will also be on hardware, a way to give new life to sales between now and the end of the year. . Less likely that the many awaited augmented and virtual reality glasses, expected for the latter part of 2022 or the beginning of 2023, will appear at the WWDC. However, it is not excluded that the company can give some anticipation, specifically of the dedicated operating system , known today as realityOs or rOs. For Gurman, Apple will unveil two new Macs that go on sale in the middle of the year. One of the models would be the MacBook Air equipped with the M2 chip and redesigned from the point of view of design, with a mini-Led display and an improved FaceTime camera. The other could be an updated Mac mini although rumors also insist on the possible arrival of a 24-inch iMac and a low-end MacBook Pro, a candidate to replace the previous 13-inch model. In the update of Apple’s operating systems for phones and smartwatches there will be more functions for health monitoring, especially dedicated to women and for more precise control of sleep phases, as well as an entry of the Health app to help people to keep track of their medications. The new iPhone 14 and Apple Watch Series 8 are expected for the traditional September event. (HANDLE).
