Anonymous-linked hacker group NB65 attacked the Russian payment system Qiwi, which allows Russians to make purchases on the Internet where Russian bank cards are not accepted.

The hackers downloaded 10.5 TB of data and also obtained information about 12.5 million credit cards of the company’s customers.

“In your latest press release, you clearly stated that the sanctions against the Russian financial system did not affect your business in any way. Well, it will definitely affect your business,” NB65 said in a statement.

It is not yet known how the leakage of personal data of customers will turn out for Qiwi. Recall that the platform is the only way for Russians to pay for purchases in Aliexpress and Steam.
