The Ukrainian IT army reported on a successful operation to combat alcoholism in Russia. Our hackers decided to ruin the Victory Day for the Russians and hacked the service, without which the supply of alcohol is impossible.

According to them, they managed to hack the Unified State Automated Information System for Accounting for the Volume of Production and Turnover of Ethyl Alcohol (EGAIS).

Leonid Khazanov, an industrial expert from Russia, believes that if producers cannot use the system for several days, this may affect the supply of alcohol throughout the country, which means that the budget will not receive significant replenishment.

“For some time, factories can work for a warehouse, but if EGAIS stays idle for a long time, then they may have to stop their capacities in order to prevent overstocking of finished products,” local media quoted the expert as saying.

And before that, hackers hacked into the popular Russian payment system. The platform is the only way for Russians to pay for purchases on Aliexpress and Steam.
