Hundreds of people reported seeing a “bright green” fireball across England and Wales, and after it fell there was a powerful explosion. According to the British Meteor Network (UKMON), which operates a network of 153 detection cameras.

These cameras capture meteors and fireballs across the UK, with fifteen detection cameras capturing the fireball. After recording photos and videos on your DVRs and video intercoms, more 250 people reported the incident on the UKMON website (according to BBC News).

So, while Britain is being attacked by a meteorite, water was found on Mars, NASA intelligence confirmed. According to UKMON, other reports said the fireball was green in color, indicating that the meteoroid was mostly magnesium.

Richard Kaserek, founder of the UK Meteor Network, reported that the final height of said fireball is approximately 30 kilometers above ground, and the speed is 6.9 kilometers per second. According to Kacherek, the data indicate that another arrival of another meteorite is possible.

Recently captured by cameras the stone is probably older than Earth and could help scientists learn more about the solar system. However, despite several “very promising” materials reported by astronomers, not a single piece of the meteorite has been officially discovered after three weeks of searching.
