(ANSA) – ROME – Waiting to know its fate after Elon Musk’s offer, Twitter continues its journey.
According to the Android website, Police is expanding the Circle feature that it started testing earlier this month. The feature works much like Instagram’s Close Friends, basically it allows users to send tweets to a specific group of people, maximum 150 who follow a user or not, rather than to all of Twitter.

“We are still testing Twitter Circle with a group of people on iOS, Android and the web globally. The functionality has not yet been extended to everyone as we continue to gather feedback,” company spokesman Joseph Nunez explained to The Verge website.

To check if you have access to Twitter Circle, you need to update the app or go to the platform through a web browser. When you start composing a tweet, you will see a drop-down menu at the top that says Everyone. From here, you can choose the Circle feature to limit the tweet to a selected audience, or you can click Edit to add or remove people from the circle. Twitter will not notify users if you add or remove them. (HANDLE).
