(ANSA) – MILAN, 01 AUG – Huawei announces the arrival in Italy of the Mate Xs 2, the new folding smartphone, the result of the company’s recent studies in the development of foldables. It costs € 1,999.90 with deliveries from September 1st. The Falcon Wing double twist hinge with flat fold makes the Mate Xs 2 both durable and compact. The foldable True-Chroma display is 7.8-inch while the True-Chroma camera system rests on a 50-megapixel sensor, with 13-megapixel ultra-angular camera and 8-megapixel telephoto lens. Particularity of the phone is the so-called Composite Screen, which has a design similar to that of the anti-collision systems of cars, to better absorb shocks. When open, the display has a resolution of 2480 x 2200 pixels, with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. When closed, the 6.5-inch panel is still useful for using all the apps you want, in classic smartphone mode. Unlike the competition, the Mate Xs 2 retains its distinctive outward opening rather than book-like like the Galaxy Z Fold 3. The Mate Xs 2 features a 4600mAh battery and supports 66W SuperCharge. which, according to the company, improves standby battery life.

The phone only supports the 4G network and the operating system is Emui 12, based on Android but without the Google apps and the Play Store, due to the notorious ban by the US government on Huawei’s business with hardware manufacturers and American services. However, there is the whole ecosystem that the Chinese giant has built around its devices in recent years, including AppGallery which now supports almost all the main software used by users. Until August 31, Huawei Mate Xs 2 will be in pre-order only on the Huawei Store at the price of € 1,999.90 and, with the deposit of € 10, you will get a discount of € 100 and the new FreeBuds Pro 2 as a gift. The leaflet will go on sale from September 1st, with the FreeBuds Pro 2 for free only until September 30th. (HANDLE).
