As proof, it was during the DC FanDom 2021 that fans were able to discover the new trailer for Batman x Fortnite: The Foundation. This comic book that has been talking about him for a few months now follows Batman x Fortnite: Zero Point. Prepare for the arrival of the Foundation
This new trailer prepares us for the Foundation’s arrival in Gotham City. The latter is known to be the leader of a mysterious group that previously rubbed shoulders with the seven, in Fortnite. Intrigued by the arrival of this new character, Batman will try to discover his real motivations.
Thanks to this trailer, we also learn that several known DCU faces will be in the game. We think in particular of Wonder Woman, Flash or Superman. At the end of the trailer, we see the Batman skin laughing.
An overview of the boards
DC and Epic Games have spoiled fans with this new trailer. In addition to offering us a preview of the characters who will appear in the comics, this trailer also shows us an excerpt from the boards of Batman x Fortnite: The Foundation. On one of them, The Foundation and Batman can be seen searching for the Zero Point power source in Gotham City.
Batman x Fortnite: The Foundation will pick up where Batman x Fortnite: Zero Point left off. As a reminder, in the previous comic, Batman and his acolytes escaped Fortnite. They took advantage of their escape to close the crack in the DC Omniverse. At least that’s what they thought.
In fact, at the end of this comic, we learn that another crack has been opened in Metropolis. This vulnerability was opened by Deathstroke. Theories suggest this is where Foundation got to Gotham City. To know if this is true, we will have to wait for the release of Batman x Fortnite: The Foundation.
