Technical problems for Starship, postponed the launch

The launch of the Starship flight test, the largest reusable space transport system, built by SpaceX and destined for the Moon and Mars, was postponed due to technical problems. A pressurization problem in the first stage of the SuperHeavy rocket forced SpaceX to stop the countdown with 40 seconds to launch. “A pressurization valve appears to be frozen so unless it starts working soon, no launches today,” Elon Musk tweeted, adding “we will try again in a few days.”

Without crew or any cargo on board, the SpaceX spacecraft is destined for trips to the Moon and Mars. To carry it into space is the Super Heavy rocket, the largest rocket ever built. The launch is scheduled from Starbase, the spaceport of Elon Musk’s company located in Boca Chica, Texas, and the objective of the test is to take Starship into space and bring it back to Earth, about 100 kilometers from the coast of Kauai island, in Hawaii.

It is a crucial test, the success of which could open the possibility of flights to Mars, and for this very reason the date and time of the launch are subject to continuous changes. SpaceX’s goal is, in fact, to exploit this test flight to collect as many useful data as possible.
