Work in companies becomes smart, thanks to Artificial Intelligence

From chats that recommend recipes and shopping lists to platforms for making tailor-made clothes, from apps that foresee the production of renewable energy to systems for selecting candidates more quickly: Artificial Intelligence also enters companies to make work smarter ‘ and improve the lives of workers. Seven applications in this area will be awarded in Milan on 18 and 19 October by Smau, a platform that brings together companies, entrepreneurs and start-ups with the aim of promoting innovation.

The first example is SkillGym, developed by Lifelike in collaboration with Snam: an online platform that uses AI to simulate difficult conversations and help employees develop and improve their skills. The startup Svelto! worked with Edison to develop an AI-powered app that analyzes large amounts of renewable generation and weather data to provide long-term production forecasts for more than 600 wind turbines and 700 photovoltaic systems. Carrefour Italia, on the other hand, is collaborating with the start-up Digitiamo to develop a service dedicated to customers, which uses ChatGpt to provide suggestions, recipes and information.

The solution developed by Douglas together with the nCore HR start-up improves and speeds up the personnel search and selection process, with a 60% time saving and a 40% increase in effectiveness. But the design of railway stations can also benefit from the help of Artificial Intelligence: Ferrovie dello Stato and Mine Crime have developed a platform that collects data on the activities that take place inside the stations with the aim of identifying commercial opportunities and possible risks . Novamont and Farzati Spa worked together to create a system that monitors the entire life cycle of bioplastics, while the Reda Group has developed a platform that digitizes the process of creating, producing and selling personalized clothing.
