(ANSA) – MILAN, DEC 16 – Samsung today announced the release of its new Galaxy Tab A8, a tablet designed for entertainment but also for the studio. Equipped with a 10.5-inch screen with a thin bezel and a 16:10 aspect ratio, it benefits from a quad speaker with Dolby Atmos and three storage memory slots. The device is indeed available with 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of storage, which can be further increased with a microSD card. The hardware department is completed by 3 or 4 GB of Ram memory and 7,040 mAh battery with fast charging. Samsung did not want to skimp on the photographic department, especially with regard to the front camera, which comes into play during meetings and remote teaching. The sensor is 5 megapixel and uses the Screen Recorder function. With this, you can store tutorial videos or lessons, or even record yourself while presenting content. The rear camera is 8 megapixel and although it cannot replace that of the smartphone, it still represents a quick way to capture photos and review them on the large panel. Being integrated into Samsung’s broader ecosystem, the Tab A8 also enjoys Knox security, which ensures multi-layered protection, and facial recognition. In addition, the software’s real-time defense ensures that external threats cannot access the device. The Galaxy Tab A8 will be available in Italy in gray, silver and in the new pink gold color, from December, at the starting price of 249 euros.
