Russian President Vladimir Putin compared Elon Musk to the aerospace engineer Sergei Korolev, architect of the Soviet cosmonautics. Tass reports it.
“You know, there is a man who lives in the United States, Musk, who, could be said, is enthusiastic about Mars. Such people rarely appear in the human population, driven by a certain idea,” said Putin in a meeting with students according to the Russian official press agency. “Even if today they seem incredible to me, after some time these ideas are often realized. Just as the ideas of Korolev himself and our pioneers realized at the time, some of the projects they draw up they seemed incredible. But everything was made,” said Putin.
