(ANSA) – PARIS, 22 FEB – The maxi-trial underway in Paris on the attacks of 13 November 2015 that killed 130 people between the Stade de France, the Bataclan and the premises of the center of Paris.
“The hearing has resumed but has resumed quickly because we have two accused affected by Covid,” said the president of the special court, Jean-Louis Périès, announcing the suspension of the work. The two new defendants who tested positive for coronavirus are Tunisian Sofien Ayari and Belgian-Moroccan, Mohamed Bakkali.
The trial has already been delayed four weeks due to positive defendants at Covid, including the main accused, Salah Abdeslam. “Hopefully,” Périès said. The hearing will resume next Tuesday. (HANDLE).
