(ANSA) – BRUSSELS, FEBRUARY 23 – “There is no doubt that Nord Stream 2 is not a project of European interest, we have the pipelines that are necessary for us and have their own path and meet our needs. Nord Stream 2 does not it is an active pipeline, there is no gas. An approval process has been interrupted, but there can be no effect on the price of gas. ” This was stated by the deputy chairman of the EU commission Margrhete Vestager.
“The commission must interface with the German authorities to see if the process will restart but we support the German authorities who have said that in the current circumstances the approval process is suspended”: (ANSA).
