(ANSA) – NEW YORK, 04 MAR – ‘An aberrant man, evil in person’. With these words Melinda French Gates described Jeffrey Epstein in the first TV interview granted by the announcement of her divorce from Bill Gates. The woman also admitted that she once met the financier accused of child sexual offenses: ‘after I had nightmares’. ‘I wanted to see who this man was and I regretted it from the moment I walked through the threshold of his door,’ Melinda told CBS, without clarifying when the meeting took place.
The former Ms. Gates also openly criticized her ex-husband for dating the suicidal billionaire in jail. ‘I didn’t like Bill seeing Jeffrey Epstein and I told him plainly.’ She then explained that the decision to divorce the founder of Microsoft was made for ‘many things, and not just one’.
