In London, activists have occupied a £25 million home linked to Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska in the elite Belgravia area. It is reported by the Daily Mail.

Activists broke into the house after midnight on Monday and hung out Ukrainian flags and banners reading “This property has been vacated” and “Putin, fuck you.”

The mansion is considered the most expensive terraced house in London and is one of the most exclusive addresses in the British capital.

Officers arrived at the scene to find that several people had broken in and hung banners from windows above. The officers remain where they are.

“We are here to protest against the property of a Russian oligarch and warmonger. This government is not only acting illegally, it is acting immorally. This property belongs to Ukrainian refugees,” the activists said.

UK threatens Russia with sanctions over Ukraine

Prime Minister Boris Johnson, during a visit to Kyiv, said that the UK, along with other countries, had prepared sanctions in the event of a new Russian invasion of Ukraine, which would be introduced “as soon as the foot of a Russian soldier crosses the border.” Also, the British authorities do not exclude the arrest of the property of Russian oligarchs.
