Former CIA director David Petraeus told CNN that Russia has problems in command and control.

Ukrainian journalist Andrei Tsaplienko wrote about this on Telegram.

“The Impatient General”

The CNN host asked Petraeus how the Russian Federation has already lost five of its generals in Ukraine, if the United States has lost, for example, only one general during the entire war in Afghanistan.

To this, David Petraeus replied that the problems of the Russian Federation in command and control of troops are caused by the fact that the Ukrainian military is jamming communications – Russian troops are not able to freely contact each other.

“What it looks like in practice: the column stops, the impatient general, sitting in an armored car at the end of the column, must go out and find out from his subordinates what happened. There is no initiative at a lower level – they are all waiting for instructions. Here he comes out, and Ukrainians have very good snipers,” said David Petraeus.

Recall that in the three weeks of the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine, our defenders destroyed more than ten high-ranking commanders of the invaders, including at least six generals.
