(ANSAmed) – TEL AVIV, MARCH 30 – Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh praised the Palestinian who yesterday killed four bystanders and a police officer in Bnei Brak (Tel Aviv) before being shot down himself. “We are proud of the Palestinian people and the freedom fighters of our nation for this heroic attack that has hit Israel,” said Haniyeh according to the Ynet website. Last night Hamas had already expressed glee over the new attack on an Israeli city, the third of its kind in a week.
Hamas has also criticized the condemnation of the Bnei Brak attack that has come in the meantime by the Palestinian president, Abu Mazen: “By doing so, he has placed himself outside the national line”, commented Hamas. (ANSAmed).
