Hungary: Orban votes, ‘safe with me alone in wartime’

(ANSA) – BUDAPEST, APRIL 03 – After voting in his seat, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban told the press that only he represents “peace and security” for the people, when war is a danger for everyone. “All the Communists went to vote, we have to do it too,” he added. Peter Marki-Zay, who challenges him by leading the alliance of all the other parties, voted in his city, Hodemezovasarhely. “I deny another big lie of the government propaganda: we, in the event of a change of government, will not turn off the Russian gas tap which will continue to arrive until we find an alternative,” he told reporters.
